Volunteers provide guided tours of the house, gardens and Bigelow Spring park. The Museum is open on Summer Saturdays and Sundays, 12:00 to 4:00 pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day. It is open year round for individual and group tours by appointment. Training and support provided!

Gardening and Maintenance

Volunteers gather at the Bigelow House on the first Saturday of each month to tend the flowerbeds—both perennials and roses, fruit trees, and evergreens. We also make small repairs, paint, and perform other tasks as needed.

Research and Artifact Processing

The are countless research projects associated with the Bigelow family, properties, community history, and artifacts. In addition, many artifacts associated with the Bigelow Family and Olympia History await formal processing and Cataloging. If you have a specific interest or would like to tackle one of the many projects we haven’t gotten to yet, we would love your help!
